Who am I?

Clive Good

Jesus-follower – I’m a person who believes Jesus was who he said was.  He said, “I am the way, the truth and the life.  No one comes to the father except through me.”  I want to follow what he said and taught.

Husband (of a Pastor) – We’ve been married for almost 4 years.  She’s more beautiful now than when we met and I’m a very blessed man.

Accountant – What I do for a living – I enjoy it.

Student – I’m currently working on my accounting designation (CGA).  I am also going to receive a B. Comm in the process.  I will also look at other education down the road.  I also attend the school of hard knocks.

Sports fan - I like the Habs, Jays, Raptors and Dolphins.  My reasons for liking each team are varied:

Habs – It started when Steve Penney was their goalie in the playoffs.  The next year, it was Patrick Roy and they won the cup and I became a Habs fan for life.

Jays – My dad is a huge baseball fan.  I’ve pretty much been a Jays fan since our first game together (my first game) - the rainy, cold home opener in April 1983.  The Jays came from behind to beat the Yankees.  We stayed to the end.  I’ve never left a sporting event before it was over since then.

Raptors – I’ve followed them since expansion, but I’m not as big a basketball fan as hockey or baseball.

Dolphins – Started following them when Dan Marino was still the quarterback.  I’m not as big a football fan, either.  I usually catch the hi-lites rather than watch the games.

Political Junkie – Ask my wife, it’s a severe addiction.  I am a member of a polical party.  It does not mean I agree with every stance the party takes, nor do I always agree with how they “do politics.”  Also see my post, “Confessions of a Temporary Conservative Deserter” for more details.  I’d like to start/get involved in a campaign to bring the respect back to the political arena, because it’s pretty nasty and all parties have issues in this regard. *Note: I’ll link to that post – once I figure out how to do it.

Anyway, that’s me in a nutshell… enjoy the blog.
